Reversible Batik Apron

Introducing the vibrant magic of a fair trade reversible apron: It’s like a superhero cape for your kitchen adventures. With its flour-sack back, it’s ready to bring style and ethical flair to your culinary escapades! Each apron is batiked and sewn by artisans working with Global Mamas in Ghana. Batik is an ancient fabric art in which a hot wax resist is painted or stamped onto fabric then dyed. It has been practiced in Ghana for generations, typically by women. The Global Mamas community in Cape Coast is made up of nearly 100 independent, fair trade, women-owned businesses.
