Crafted from upcycled blue gin bottles, these glasses will add a colorful touch to your happy hour! Each one of these Reclaimed Blue Glass Tumblers is cut and sculpted by hand by women who have little to no access to safe, reliable or sustainable employment opportunities and who are discriminated against solely on the basis that they live in some of the most dangerous and violent areas of Guatemala City, Guatemala. Our fair trade partner, UPAVIM, believes that when women are economically empowered, families thrive and communities are safer. For over 28 years, UPAVIM has worked with and within the community of La Esperanza to develop programs for the community’s benefit. Through income generating projects, the women of UPAVIM are able to not only support themselves and their families, but also to support their community.
