These hand block-printed cotton napkins are made from 100% unprocessed, unbleached kora cotton. Artisans carefully carve wooden blocks, apply dyes, and hand-stamp each design, requiring numerous precise impressions to complete one piece. Our fair trade partner, Sustainable Threads, works with a displaced community of forest dwellers from rural western India, who lost their homes and traditional livelihoods. The work of creating these beautiful, block-printed textiles offers fair income, safe working conditions and helps them rebuild their lives.
