Soap Nuts

Laundry Soap Nuts are an eco-friendly alternative to laundry detergent. These soap nuts come from the Sapindus Mukorossi tree, which is native to Nepal and India. Simply use 2-3 nuts in a small cotton bag when washing with hot water and 4-5 nuts in cold water. Gentle on skin, great for baby clothes. New SADLE artisan group is a not-for-profit training and employment program for artisans who have had leprosy or polio, who have other disabilities, or who are socially disadvantaged. The organization offers free medical treatment to artisans, provides handicraft skills that can lead to financially sustainable jobs, and provides free day-care and schooling up to grade 12 for artisans' children.
