Rocket Ship Felted Ornament

Blast off with this brightly colored rocket ship, complete with two aliens peeking out of the windows on either side of the ornament. The perfect whimsical touch to brighten up your holiday tree or use as a year-round accent. Artisans craft felt ornaments by applying soap, water and pressure to unspun wool in a process known as wet felting. Embellishments are added using a barbed needle to bind the wool and sculpt the fibers, a technique called needle felting. Handcrafted by artisans in Nepal working with dZi. As a co-founding member of the Fair Trade Federation, dZi works with over 1,000 artisans in Nepal and India.
