This Recycled Sari and Banana Fiber Birdhouse utilizes recycled cotton sari textiles and banana fiber woven to create each individual birdhouse in a shape reminiscent of those many birds build for themselves. This eco-friendly birdhouse is one that you, the birds and the planet we share can all appreciate. The birdhouse is handwoven by women working with fair trade partner Prokritee in Bangladesh. In addition to steady, fair wages and safe workplaces, Prokritee provides training in new techniques to help women expand their skills.
