This Patchwork Silk Sari Kimono Jacket is handmade by women artisans in India using 100% silk up-cycled saris. Features a patchwork design with different jewel tone colors on each side accented with patch pockets. Each piece is uniquely beautiful and is made from saris that are intricately stitched together using the traditional “kantha” embroidery technique. The trim detail is made with kalamkari natural dye block print fabric, block-printed by artisans in South India. The reversible design means it's two jackets in one! Our fair trade partner Sevya is dedicated to preserving the indigenous art forms and cultures of India by supporting artisan communities. "Sevya" is a Sanskrit word that means "caring through service".
