These Cotton Kantha Shorts are handmade by women artisans in India using 100% cotton up-cycled saris. Each pair is uniquely beautiful, made from saris that are intricately stitched together using the traditional “kantha” embroidery technique. Designed for sturdy comfort with a patchwork design of unique sari prints, these fair trade shorts feature an elasticated waist, and a patch pocket at the back with indigo block print. Our fair trade partner Sevya is dedicated to preserving the indigenous art forms and cultures of India by supporting artisan communities. "Sevya" is a Sanskrit word that means "caring through service".
