Ceramic Owl Ocarina

A fun addition to any music room! Ocarinas are a type of vessel flute traditionally used throughout the Andes. They are often used to imitate birds or to call livestock in the mountains. When played, this ocarina sounds like an owl! Based in Managua, Nicaragua, Oyanca Artesania was founded in 2001 by Tamara Pereira, with the goal of providing increased export opportunities for Nicaraguan ceramic artisans.
