This Braided Silk Sari Headband is made using upcycled sari fabrics, so each one is completely unique! Crafted by a group of women artisans in Jaipur working to keep the fabrics out of the landfill and while also creating a livelihood for themselves. Our fair trade partner Matr Boomie partners with over 2,000 artisans in marginalized communities throughout India to create economic and sustainable living opportunities. By investing in vocational training, literacy programs and providing fair wage opportunities to women, artisans feel empowered to reach their full potential and become entrepreneurs.
