Batik Bib Patchwork

This hand-batiked patchwork baby bib makes the perfect gift to welcome little ones to the world! Each is batiked and sewn by artisans working with Global Mamas in Ghana and features an upcycled flour sack lining. Batik is an ancient fabric art in which a hot wax resist is painted or stamped onto fabric then dyed. It has been practiced in Ghana for generations, typically by women. The Global Mamas community in Cape Coast is made up of nearly 100 independent, fair trade, women-owned businesses.
