Soapstone Googley Green Frog

Skilled artisans working with African Modern in and around Nairobi, Kenya specialize in carving, polishing and decorating native Kisii soapstone into whimsical decorative pieces. These silly little frog sculptures are hand carved, then dyed a vibrant green. To give each one personality, artisans add googley eyes and etched geometric or floral designs.
