Painted Stone & Metal Yellow Bird

In Zimbabwe, an artist named Luke Jimu sculpts bird sculptures from stone, then adds recycled metal beaks, legs and tail feathers, as well as hand-painted colorful coats. Also available in red and blue, combine multiple birds to create a colorful addition to any bookshelf or accent wall. Luke works with springstone, which is a prized dark stone that polishes to a high shine because of its density. Most springstone is sustainably sourced and is mined on communal lands for the purpose of sculpting.
