Magic Peace Bus Felted Birdhouse

This adorable vintage bus birdhouse will be a peaceful addition to your yard! A yellow bus is adorned with a purple peace sign and colorful flowers. Small birds such as wrens, nuthatches or chickadees may use the house to nest and rest. Crafted from water-repellent sheep's wool, rain or snow will wick through the felt and air dry as the wool breathes. To create the birdhouses, artisans craft thick felt sheets by applying soap, water and pressure to unspun wool in a process known as wet felting. Embellishments are often added using a barbed needle to bind the wool and sculpt the fibers, a technique called needle felting.
