Ceramic Chulucanas Dove

This adorable dove makes a whimsical addition to any space! Using the Chulucanas pottery technique, artisans feature shades of blue, yellow, green and red in these detailed animals. Chulucanas pottery was developed in northern Peru using techniques from pre-Incan times. The art form experienced a revival beginning in the 1970's and ceramists have since expanded the color repertoire to create beautiful multicolor pieces. Each animal is signed by the artist.
