Blue & Green Bogolan Festival Throw

This large blanket is created using an updated mudcloth technique in Mali. Every swirl and pattern is hand-waxed, and each blanket is one-of-a-kind. Blue, green, brown and black tones mingle in an array of geometric shapes based on traditional and contemporary African symbols. The same artisans who weave the cotton also take part in dyeing it, and each piece is made with incredible care.

• Hemmed borders at top and bottom; as typical with authentic mudcloth, the backside is unfinished
