Bistro Batik Apron

It’s the perfect blend of function and flair. Each apron is batiked and sewn by artisans working with Global Mamas in Ghana. Batik is an ancient fabric art in which a hot wax resist is painted or stamped onto fabric then dyed. It has been practiced in Ghana for generations, typically by women. The Global Mamas community in Cape Coast is made up of nearly 100 independent, fair trade, women-owned businesses.
