Batik Bowl Cozy

This stylish bowl cozy is a cute and practical accessory for your kitchen. Its interior foam layers keep your hands safe while enjoying hot meals, adding convenience and comfort to your dining experience. Each bowl cozy is batiked and sewn by artisans working with Global Mamas in Ghana. Batik is an ancient fabric art in which a hot wax resist is painted or stamped onto fabric then dyed. It has been practiced in Ghana for generations, typically by women. The Global Mamas community in Cape Coast is made up of nearly 100 independent, fair trade, women-owned businesses.
