Banana Fiber Giraffe

This long-necked giraffe comes to us from the Banana Hill region outside of Nairobi where local artisans are incredibly talented at manipulating banana palm. In the Banana Hill suburb, artisans utilize the fiber of banana palm trees, which grow prolifically in East Africa, to create whimsical gifts for local sale and export.
