Named after its maker expert weaver Vestine, this colorful basket featuring green, light rust, black and cream was inspired by a fabric Vestine found. It is a challenge for most weavers to take an established pattern and weave it with perfect balance and excellence in every stitch, but Vestine has a gift. Our fair trade partner, Azizi Life, works directly with artisans in Rwanda to create stunning, fair trade products. Each piece is made with care and follows fair trade principles—ensuring artisans earn fair wages, work in safe conditions, and gain opportunities that empower them and their communities.
