Magnolia & Bluebird Felt Pot

This charming hand-felted pot adorned with a bluebird surrounded by magnolia blossoms is perfect for potted plants or as a fun storage bin. Excess water will wick through the natural woolen fibers so place a dish inside or outside just in case. Crafting wool felt is a labor-intensive process that involves applying soap, water and pressure to unspun wool in a process known as wet felting. Embellishments are added using a barbed needle to bind the wool and sculpt the fibers, a technique called needle felting.
